Atlantic Link's MD, Mike Alcock explains, "Rapid e-learning used to mean the development of finished courses in weeks instead of months. With the latest release of Content Point, end user organisations can now look forward to producing courses in hours or at most days. There's a lot of hype around rapid e-learning, and some vendors will even "badge" 10 year old software as "rapid". This wizard brings together the functionality of the latest technology in a user interface which is so intuitive it almost does it for you."

The Course Creation wizard produces a complete course including navigation, course structure, slides, skins, backgrounds, logos and a selection of instructional learning objects. All the user then has to do is drop in their content (possibly by using Content Point's PowerPoint converter) and publish the course, which takes less than a tenth of a second. The whole process is completed live on the Internet, so the course can be deployed straight away.

Another major benefit for end users is that course templates can be configured to meet their own organisation's branding guidelines. This ensures consistency and guarantees that courses conform to the corporate standard and look and feel.

Mike concludes, "We've only just started demonstrating this functionality, and people can't believe their eyes. We are really looking forward to the coming exhibition season where we will be able to demonstrate to people the true meaning of rapid e-learning".
