Atlantic Link Helps William Ward Transform into 'Billy Biketruck'

William Ward of e-learning consultants Technology Niche is part of Team Biketruck which is tackling the famous Paris – Dakar route, leaving the Eiffel Tower on the 8th March for a two and a half week rally across the deserts of North Africa and raising money for the Riders for Health charity.

William has been sponsored in his adventure by e-industry innovators Atlantic Link. Atlantic Link MD Mike Alcock says “At Atlantic Link we take the view that life is for living and we are always supportive of those who a looking to do something a bit different, whether they are members of our team or people we work with in the industry. You certainly find out new things about people – I never knew that William’s alter ego in the biking world is a character known universally as Billy Biketruck!”

Team Biketruck are running two bikes in the rally – the imaginatively named Atlantic Link One and Atlantic Link Two – and have already raised £5,000 for Riders for Health, a charity which provides reliable transport for health workers in Africa.
