Capture Point
Atlantic Link's unique tool for the automatic creation of online software training courses
Capture Point allows quality on-line learning to be produced in hours instead of weeks. It records your actions in any software application and instantly creates a fully interactive simulation, complete with mouse clicks, keyboard inputs and all user interactions.
Capture Point runs alongside any IT application and accurately captures screens and all user interactions. It automatically creates ‘show me’, ‘try me’ and ‘test me’ playback modes, as well as ‘Word’ output for documentation.
Capture Point projects are imported into Content Point to instantly create and publish quality systems training courses.
All imported courses remain fully content manageable once imported into Content Point.

*****NEW****** Capture Point 1.6 is released
The new features of Capture Point dramatically improve the speed and accuracy of Atlantic Link's screen capture, as well as providing additional new functionality to make life even easier for users developing software simulations and IT training programmes.
Here is a quick insight into some of the major developments and how they make a difference:
Enhanced capture engine
The capture engine has been completely re-written, providing intelligent capture of numerous new items including buttons, cells, columns, drop-down lists, links, menu items, tabs, title bars and more. This will save users hours of work as the amount of editing required post-capture is now almost zero.
Built-in image editor
A fully featured image editor is now embedded within Capture Point. Full drawing and editing capabilities are provided. This means that images can be edited 'on the fly' within Capture Point, rather than having to be exported to third party applications such as Paint or Photoshop. This is especially useful for masking sensitive data to meet regulation requirements.
Window and capture frame auto resizing
The capture frame can now automatically re-size the target application window, ensuring that captured sequences are exactly the right size. The capture frame can also be set to resize itself when the application window is resized, ensuring that only the correct information is captured.
Storyboard view
This new view allows users to see all of the captured screens in a 'storyboard' layout. This is especially useful for editing large capture projects.
Multi-select
Multiple slides can now be selected for move, copy, paste, and delete slide functions.
Grid and zoom
A configurable grid is now available in the 'Edit View', with snap and size capabilities. This allows the easy alignment of objects on the screen. Zoom is also now possible in the 'Edit View'.
